Terms of Service

Acceptance of terms

By creating an account and using JobHunt, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

What JobHunt does

JobHunt is a job application assistant that uses AI to help you tailor CVs, write cover letters, prepare for interviews, and manage your application pipeline. It is a tool to support your job search, not a recruitment service, employer, or employment agency.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use JobHunt.
• One account per person. Do not share accounts.

AI-generated content

JobHunt uses Google Gemini AI to generate cover letters, interview answers, CV suggestions, and other content. By using these features, you acknowledge:

• AI-generated content is a starting point, not a final product. Always review and edit output before using it in a real application.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, suitability, or quality of AI-generated content for any specific role.
• You are solely responsible for the content you submit to employers, regardless of whether it was AI-assisted.
• Do not submit fabricated credentials, experience, or qualifications. AI suggestions that are factually inaccurate must be corrected before use.

Gmail integration

If you connect your Gmail account, you authorise JobHunt to send emails on your behalf when you explicitly trigger this action. We request only the minimum permissions necessary. You can disconnect Gmail at any time from Settings. You remain responsible for all emails sent via your Gmail account through JobHunt.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use JobHunt to send spam or unsolicited bulk emails
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
• Submit malicious files or content designed to harm the service

Beta service

JobHunt is currently in beta. This means the service may be unstable, features may change or be removed, and we provide no service level guarantees. We will do our best to maintain continuity but cannot be held liable for interruptions or data loss during the beta period.

Limitation of liability

JobHunt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any job application outcomes, employment decisions made by third parties, or consequences of using AI-generated content. Our maximum liability to you for any claim is limited to amounts you have paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim (currently £0 during the free beta).

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which permanently removes all your data. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
